There has been very minimal update on Schumacher’s condition as his family seems to be very private with his recovery. The 47-year-old was put in a medically induced coma immediately after the incident before doctors reported in March 2014 that his condition was stable. After a lengthy stay at the hospital, Schumacher has been brought home to recuperate at his family home in Geneva."The family have chosen to conduct Michael's convalescence in private and I must respect that," Brawn told BBC Sport. "There are encouraging signs and we are all praying every day that we see more of them. So, it is difficult for me to say very much and respect the family's privacy.” Brawn later added that there is a lot of speculation going on about Schumacher's condition and "most of it is wrong."
Last year, Schumacher’s family filed a lawsuit against a German magazine which claimed that the F1 driver could walk again. In September this year, their lawyer, Felix Damm, revealed to the court that Schumacher is still unable to walk or stand unaided and did not disclose any further information on the legendary driver’s condition. A verdict on the case is expected to come out anytime soon.
