The popular dUCk Scarves that all the ladies make a beeline for both online and offline has released their latest range of limited edition scarves.
With every new dUCk, there is always a personal story behind it and this edition is no exception. But this time, the scarves were inspired by something that has kept our Malaysian traditions intact over the years – kuih.
Cheekily named The Yummy dUCk, the newest collection features three geometric designs each inspired by a traditional kuih-muih – Seri Muka, Kuih Lapis and Kuih Koci.
Each scarf has a distinctive design element that is unique to its corresponding kuih and comes in its own specially designed box, as well as a ‘Thank You’ card with a recipe for these Malaysian delicacies.
The limited edition Yummy dUCk scarves retail for RM300 each and is available at the dUCk Store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Fashion Valet.
The team reportedly drew inspiration from actual stall owners selling these local desserts and the dUCk team even visited them repeatedly during the creative process.
And to pay tribute to these unsung heroes who have kept our traditional kuih throughout this time, the dUCk Group will be organising a special event this Malaysia Day on 16 September. So be sure to follow their Instagram for more news and updates.
