Rajinikanth Is Coming Back To Malaysia In April For A Marathon

Kollywood fans, if you still can’t move on from meeting Rajinikanth in the flesh when he dropped by Malaysia earlier this year, well, we’ve got great news from you.

The 'Kabali' star will be returning to Malaysia on 1 April but not for a film shoot, but for a marathon instead.

The marathon named ‘The Mass Run’ will be held at Dataran Merdeka in an effort to promote Rajinikanth’s new movie 'Kaala'.

The movie is expected to premiere in theatres this 27 April.

Apart from the Tamil superstar, his co-stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Anjali Patil, Sukanya and Samuthirakani will also be joining him for the event.

Tickets for the 5km fun run is already on sale and are priced from RM60-RM70 for early birds (normal price is RM75 – RM85).
