The first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, gave us a glimpse into the life of orphaned young Harry, discovering his magical abilities and adventures in Hogwarts.
Without a doubt, the series got us all hooked and lining up overnight to buy the latest book in the series.
Two remarkable decades have passed and the book has turned into a worldwide phenomenon, spanning eight 'Harry Potter' movies and two spin-offs – 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.
So, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter’s debut in US, Scholastic has unveiled seven new covers for the book series.
The covers, adorned with black and white illustrations, are set for release this 26 June.
The best part about the covers? When arranged all seven side by side, they make up a huge illustration!
The new book covers aren’t the only thing being launched to celebrate 20 years of magic.
An augmented reality mobile game called 'Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery' will reportedly drop worldwide on 25 April for both iOS and Android users.
The game will also feature actual voices of original 'Harry Potter' cast members such as Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore), Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), and Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick).
It's definitely a good year to be a Potterhead.
