His children and wife have come under pressure, and the authorities even seized baby shoes belonging to his grandchild, he tells Umno members.
BREAKING NEWS
PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak today lamented that he had been treated badly despite having ensured a smooth transition of power after Barisan Nasional was defeated at the general election.
“My wife, kids were put under pressure. They even raided my children’s home. They even seized baby shoes belonging to my grandchild as well my children’s wedding gifts,” he told Umno members in Pekan.
Yesterday, Najib said he was disappointed with the indiscriminate manner his children’s personal belongings had been seized.
Three apartments at Pavilion Residences, two of which belong to his children Norashman (Ashman) and Nooryana Najwa (known as Gina), were recently searched, as were Najib’s former office at the Prime Minister’s Department and the official residence of the prime minister.
