If you’re familiar with the French brand, Lacoste, you would know by now that the brand sports a very distinctive logo – a green crocodile.

The iconic logo is plastered all over their merchandises but the most popular one would be on its polo shirt.

But recently, Lacoste has announced that they will be replacing the crocodile logo with 10 different animals – but for a good cause.

Lacoste has partnered with The International Union for Conservation of Nature to raise awareness on endangered animals via their ‘Save Our Species’ initiative.

Ten endangered species will take the place of the green crocodile in a series of limited-edition polo shirts.

What’s even more interesting is the number of shirts produced actually mirrors the number of animals left from each species.

Among the animals featured are the Javan Rhino, Vaquita Dolphin, Kakapo Parrot, Northern Sportive Lemur, Burmese Roofed Turtle, Cao Vit Gibbon, Anegada Ground Iguana, Saola, California Condor, and Sumatran Tiger.

The majestic Sumatran Tiger.
The cute gibbon is our favourite!
A total of 1,775 shirts were made for this special collection with the most of it belonging to the Anegada Rock Iguana (450 editions) and the least belonging to the Vaquita Dolphin (30 editions).

Each shirt is sold for USD$185 (RM724.31) via their webstore.
